Our fourth International Folk Festival Malinik 2014 lasted for four days and was held on September 19th at Zlot, opening ceremony at Bor was held on September 20th and the last two days’ concerts were at Slatina, Brestova and Sarbanovac villages. Folk ensembles from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Serbia were presenting their traditional dances.

During the Malinik 2014, exhibition of traditional household items was presented at Brestovac village and competition in preparing traditional dishes was organized at Brestovac and Sarbanovac villages.

Festival was organized by Village with the assistance of Brestovac Municipality, Folk Ensamble “Djido“ Brestovac, NGO “Primovara” Zlot, Sarbanovac Municipality,Elementary School „Stanoje Miljković” Brestovac, Mountaineers Association „Dubašnica“ Zlot, Elementary School „Branko Radičević“ Bor and FE „Branislav Nušić“ Sarbanovac.
